I was just thinking and then this came up on me . How about sending a poster along with the letter campaign. I can contribute atleast three posters. They do not have to be full size posters ..can be just A4 size pamphlets kinds. We can just print them in color printer and send them along with the letters. These posters may make it to the press also as they will be funny and spicy for news. Actually, we can send copy of our letters to press as well along with our posters. If we make about 10 such posters, we can send one random poster along with the letter.

what makes you state with confidance that the preadjudicated cases will be evaluated. can you please explain the basis of your statement. both my case and my wife's case has been pre-adjudicated and i am waiting for my green card. so do you think we should expect our green card some time next month without any additional followup. i would hate to see my case being sidetracked when some one else with pd and rd much beyond mine is serviced. any thoughts and insights. not trying to offend anyone. just trying to get some information.

My heartiest congratulations to IV and Core. Over the last 2 weeks I found that IV was the most reliable and quickest in giving us information.
I have a question for IV , is there a possibility of increasing annual GC quota or atleast reusing unused Visas from previous years.

Mine was also applied on 23rd in the Masters cap. No notice yet. They say it will take some weeks. Hopefully it should come soon as the site says only 22 left to be receipted.

Thank you all for contributing. pls. contribute generously. Till now a little over 100 have contributed out of 7650 members. In the past few days about 3000 members visited this site. you can do the math.

Per my knowledge, There is no RULE that USCIS has to assign priority date of 140 to subs case , instead its original LC date... I found on Fragomen website too...

I was one of the guys from MI that redds777 hosted. I must say I can't thank enough for the hospitality he and his family had shown us.
Also I know a couple of other DC members who hosted outside folks. Thanks to them also.

Actually funds that are raised for an event should happen much before any such event because we need to lay the ground work for the event in DC . I dont know when our next event would be. IV core can comment on that after watching the legislative events in DC in next few months .
What i was conveying was, to donate to the pool of resources and be ready when the bills start moving in the congress . IV would need to hit the road again at that time to continue the momentum from the lobby event and have our provisions included in the base bill. Regarding the dollar number, i dont know how much would be needed.
On the day of the events you can get involved by actually hosting some members in your homes if u live in DC area . actually i hosted 3 guys from MI thsi time . that way it makes easier for the members on their pockets as they would have spent on air tickets etc.. there are many ways to be actively invloved in IV for our cause. you can motivate your collegues and friends do teh same for our cause. Rest assured that IV will use the money sensibly as i have seen in this event.

Leadership can't be demanded/begged from other people. Either you lead or if not ... then just pray that others will.
I think it can be demanded or requested. The people who have the role of the admin or have control over the forum can post such appeals on the front page. Not everybody on this forum can do that.

From my point of view, that would be common sense. :)
that's right the actual law had two words that could change the actual meaning of how they are supposed to do it (ie., vertical versus horizontal). Some people (i was one of them) thought that at such a stalemate in the words that coomon sense should prevail. Common sense would dictate that skill would prevail over diversity.
However; the rules were always such that there was never any horizontal spillover but rather vertical. The main thing that changed was that the unused visas from row could be used by retrogressed countries quarterly rather then annually.
